Award winning 'green' energy saving community building built in the earthquake zone of China' Sichuan province - funded by KPMG, project managed by PME and opened in May 2011. Bamboo Community Centre in rural China is built with locally sourced materials from renewable resources - such as reconstituted bamboo, agricultural straw fibre panel wall and recycled timber window. The centre is the world’s largest single span bamboo beam architecture and it serves as an inter-generational  community centre for local villagers.
